The Justice Dept. is making available $2.5 million for 10 grants of $250,000 each to prevent and reduce the impact of violence on children in their homes and communities.

Summary
Grantees will help communities develop and put in place programs designed to ameliorate the impact of violence on children up to age 17.
Eligibility
Governments, institutions of higher education, public housing authorities, nonprofits and for-profits.
