Appointment of New Fellow: Beverly Patchell


Beverly Patchell



The MFP is proud to announce the appointment of Fellow Beverly Patchell, RN, MS, CNS.

Ms. Patchell is  a doctoral student at the New Mexico State University and the immediate past president of the National Alaska Native American Indian Nurses Association (NANAINA).  Her research area of interest relates to health beliefs and practices and its influence on perceived susceptibility and severity of illness among American Indian children and youth who are at risk for substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Ms. Patchell is a member of the Cherokee Nation Tribe.
