2007 NAMI National Convention Call for Abstracts (12/06/06)
There will be an array of information of interest to NAMI members, non-members, and our NAMI partners on many topics in mental health offered in a variety of workshops and exhibits.
The Multicultural Action Center will be hosting a workshop concerning quality mental health treatment for communities of color, a Spanish-language workshop (topic to be announced), workshops to address mental health issues in specific traditionally underserved communities, and more.
At this time we are accepting proposals for workshops and poster presentations. If there is a topic you would like to have addressed at the 2007 NAMI Convention, we encourage you to submit a proposal by December 15th. After a very successful Multicultural Strategic Summit held at the 2006 convention in Washington, D.C., we would like to keep up the momentum and enthusiasm and hope you will join us in San Diego!
