Call for Applications to Participate in Capacity Building Effort to Eliminating Health Disparities

The Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) has announced a call for applications for institutions to participate in a new initiative made possible by a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The initiative aims to pro-actively support schools and graduate programs of public health that are ready to take on the challenge of becoming engaged institutions focused on eliminating racial and ethnic health disparities.

The initiative will support intensive consultation with 12 schools and graduate programs of public health selected through the call for applications to achieve two interrelated goals to:

(1) build the capacity of schools and graduate programs of public health to fully realize their potential as engaged institutions focused on eliminating racial and ethnic health disparities; and

(2) build the capacity of community partners to develop authentic partnerships with schools and graduate programs of public health that address racial and ethnic health disparities.
