The Yale University School of Nursing is pleased to announce the availability of Pre and Postdoctoral Research Training funds in the area of Self and Family Management. The purpose of the training program is to prepare nurse researchers to contribute to the science of self and family management of chronic illnesses, including cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Trainees will work with faculty at the Yale School of Nursing and Yale University who are already making significant contributions to this area of research.
To that end, we are looking for exceptionally qualified doctoral applicants who want to pursue research in self and family management of chronic illnesses. The doctoral program is four to five years in length with funding by the training program over the first several years to include a stipend and a significant portion of tuition.
