International Nurses Society on Addictions Fall Conference (8/12/04)
The International Nurses Society on Addictions is pleased to announce its Fall 2004 Annual Educational Conference to be held October 13-16 at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, California. This year's theme is "Addictions and Nursing Practice: A Global View."
The conference features lead-off keynote speaker William Cope Moyers, Vice President for External Affairs at the Hazelden Foundation. Mr. Moyers, son of famed broadcast journalist Bill Moyers, will speak to the topic "Understanding the Stigma."
In addition, IntNSA has a wide assortment of preconferences focusing on topics from Buprenorphine to Acupuncture Detox, many break-out sessions presenting peer reviewed papers, and poster presentations.
Early bird registration for the conference, with lower rates, and for reservations at the hotel is Sunday, September 12.
