Groups to Develop Policy and Legal Agenda To Address Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health Care Treatment
(2/26/04)

The Civil Rights Project at Harvard University, in partnership with health-care and health-policy experts from the Interfaculty Program on Health Systems Improvement at Harvard University, will join other national stakeholders to develop and advance a research-based policy and legal agenda aimed at addressing racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare treatment. This process will involve an effort to provide policymakers and reform advocates with information and research to become more effective and informed in policy debates. To advance and build consensus of such an agenda, The Civil Rights Project will undertake a process that links researchers, advocates and policymakers, and opinion leaders in a coordinated effort.
