Community Health Leadership Program (7/13/04)
Each year, the Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leadership Programhonors ten outstanding individuals who overcome daunting odds to expand access to healthcare and social services to underserved and isolated populations in communities across the United States. Awardees each receive $120,000 -- $105,000 for program support and $15,000 as a personal stipend. CHLP is supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey.
Nominations are invited from consumers, community leaders, health professionals, government officials, and others who have been personally inspired by people providing essential community health services.
