ANA's 2004 Biennial Convention: Nurses: Your Voice, Your Health, Your Life (3/08/04)

ANA's 2004 Biennial Convention: "Nurses: Your Voice, Your Health, Your Life"
(3/08/04)

On behalf of the American Nurses Association, we are inviting individuals who presented posters at a regional nursing research society meeting in 2003 or 2004 to participate in the Grand Rounds Poster Session at ANA's 2004 Biennial Convention: "Nurses: Your Voice, Your Health, Your Life" on June 27-29, 2004 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Grand Rounds Poster Sessions includes presenters who were selected through a call for proposal process that took place last summer. As we have done in the past, ANA would also like to include representation from the regional nursing research societies of the: Eastern Nursing Research Society; Midwest Nursing Research Society; Southern Regional Research Society and the Western Institute of Nursing. Therefore, we are making limited space available to each regional nursing research society on a first come, first serve basis. If your research poster was presented at a 2003 conference, we suggest that you update your poster presentation.

The "Grand Rounds Poster Session" will be held in the Exhibit Hall and will be open during all exhibit hours. As a presenter, you will be expected to be available at your poster for one hour during each exhibit session to answer questions. The times we are asking for your presence are: Sunday June 27, 2004, 1:00-2:00PM, Monday, June 28, 2004, 11:00 AM -12 Noon and Tuesday, June 29, 2004, 12 Noon-1:00 PM. ANA does not pay for the poster presenter's travel, hotel or per diem expenses. However, the poster presenter can take advantage of the lower Speaker/Poster Presenter Registration fee of $240. For more information on the ANA convention, go to www.nursingworld.org/convention

If you are interested in presenting your poster at the ANA convention, please return the following by Friday, April 9, 2004:
