Greetings from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. Our NIH-funded Center of Excellence for Health Disparities Research: El Centro is seeking qualified candidates for a post- doctoral position. We ask your help in circulating the attached flyer to advanced doctoral students and pre-tenured professors whose work pertains to health disparities in one of the El Centro health foci.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from candidates who are considered members of health disparity populations. Health disparity populations are defined by NIH as African Americans, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asian, Hispanic, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders, socioeconomically disadvantaged, and rural populations. The 12 month appointment is as a Post-Doctoral Associate and may be renewable depending on performance and funding. Applicants should submit a vita, two letters of reference, representative reprints, and a statement of long-term research interests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
