Doris Hill

Dr. Hill is currently the Dean of Health Sciences, Wellness & Human Services at North Hennepin Community College located in Brooklyn Park, MN a suburb of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Dr. Hill is a Hispanic, professional nurse specializing in the health of ethnic minority populations, violence and mental health. She graduated with a PhD from the University of Minnesota in the spring 2005. Dr. Hill is an appointed member of the National Advisory Council for Nurse Education and Practice, a Higher Learning Commission peer reviewer, program evaluator for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, and is a member of the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education Diversity Committee. Professional membership includes Sigma Theta Tau, American Nurses Association, the Association of PeriOperative Nurses and the National League for Nursing. She has a long standing commitment to the health of minority and marginalized populations, particularly American Indian and Latino population.
