Beverly Patchell, RN, MS is the co-primary investigator for the research training portion of a diabetes center grant for the University of Oklahoma College of Public Health which is funded through the National Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities. This grant will train Indian Health Service nurses in research and evidence-based practice.
On-site coordinator for the April 2008 meeting of the American Medical Association’s Commission to End Healthcare Disparities in Oklahoma City, OK with a focus on American Indian disparities.
